Zilien is multidisciplinary artist who's work explores the subconscious, dreams, and fragments of
memory. Educated in MGI School of Finearts of Mauritius for a Degree with distinction and a
Master with excellence in the Beaux-Arts de Marseille from France.
He paints oneiric spaces infused with echoes of childhood suspended places at the threshold
between reality and imagination. These worlds are inhabited by ordinary objects, displaced from
their original function and transformed into a symbolic visual language.
Through them, he questions silent, subconscious divergences and the power of dream. Objects
and dreams are no longer a duality, they become sensitive extensions of the human being
