Helder da Costa is an Angolan information systems engineer, climate advocate, and civic leader. He is the Founder and President of Planeta Consciente, a youth-led environmental organization advancing climate action, circular economy, and environmental education across communities. As Angola’s focal point for the Global Center on Adaptation’s Youth Adaptation Network, he works to elevate youth voices in climate resilience. In 2026, he served as the main youth speaker from the Global South at IRENA’s Assembly in Abu Dhabi. A Mandela Washington Fellow in Public Management, Helder connects technology, policy, and partnerships to support sustainable development in Angola, Africa and beyond.
