Project Co-Founder, Artist, Founder of Cre8ve Faraja Artbeat. (Kenya)

Denzel Juma comes from the informal settlements of Kenya, where the environmental injustices faced by his community inspired him to take action. He is an artist and activist, and the founder of Cre8ve Faraja Artbeat, a youth-led initiative that uses murals, storytelling, and community art to champion social and environmental justice. Through his work, Denzel has collaborated with grassroots communities and international organizations such as Greenpeace Afrika, ForumCiv Planet One, and Ubunifu Hub to spark dialogue and inspire collective action. His projects range from murals addressing climate change, governance, and education, to children’s creative programs and fundraising campaigns through art. Passionate about artivism, Denzel continues to use creativity as a tool for liberation, resilience, and transformation.
